Helistop Demonstration Notice
A demonstration related to the Helistop Special Use Permit (SUP) request has been requested by Planning & Zoning for Tuesday morning, August 5, between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM.
A notice of possible quorum for both P&Z and Town Council has been issued.
This is not a formal meeting, no votes or official actions will occur.
Citizens may observe the demonstration but are reminded to respect all private property rights within the demonstration area.
Citizen Decorum During Public Meetings
Only one person may speak at a time no interruptions, side conversations, or crosstalk are permitted.
Speak only when recognized by the Presiding Officer.
All comments must remain on-topic, limited to the specific agenda item being discussed.
Disrespectful language, personal attacks, profanity, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated once the meeting is called to order.
No private conversations or distractions while a council or committee member is speaking.
All attendees must remain seated, except for the speaker at the lectern.
During high-attendance or controversial topics, the Presiding Officer may review rules of decorum with the audience before the meeting begins.
Those who violate decorum including speaking out of turn, refusing to yield, or ignoring instructions may be warned, removed from the meeting, or subject to criminal trespass charges if they refuse to comply.
All attendees are expected to follow the directions of the Presiding Officer, whose role is to ensure order, safety, and fairness throughout the proceedings.
