About Us

The Administration Department is responsible for overseeing the management of the town's day to day operations. The Department is comprised of the Town Administrator, Town Secretary, and Town Treasurer/Financial Analyst. The department provides support to the Mayor and Town Council and implements the Council Vision and priorities

Meet the Town Administrator

Chris Laugenour serves as the Town Administrator for Double Oak, drawing on decades of public service across California and Texas. His leadership has shaped community-driven projects from public transit restructuring to landmark facility upgrades. With his collaborative approach and dedication to local values, Chris supports the town's long-term vision through thoughtful planning and citizen engagement. He holds a Master of Public Administration.
