Town of Double Oak Financial Transparency

In keeping with the Town of Double Oak’s commitment to open and accountable governance, we strive to provide our residents with clear and accessible financial information. Transparency empowers citizens to understand how public funds are managed, to engage with decision-making processes, and to hold officials accountable. Financial transparency means opening the Town’s financial records to the public, so taxpayers can see exactly how their money is being spent.

In accordance with the State of Texas Local Government Code Section 102.005, this proposed budget has been submitted and filed with the Town Secretary.

The proposed budget for FY 2025-26 is based on maintaining the current property tax rate of $0.178834 per $100 of taxable value. This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by amount of $57,713, which is an increase of 4.47%.

• Continuing support of the Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department
