DOWC Annual Charity Auction

• Doors open at 6:00 p.m. - Live Auction begins at 6:30 p.m.

  It’s that time again! The Double Oak Women’s Club (DOWC) is thrilled to announce our Annual Charity Auction, one of the most highly attended and beloved events of the year and the largest auction fundraiser held in Double Oak!

  This evening is always full of fun, laughter, friendly bidding wars, and community spirit. But remember the more the merrier! So, grab your friends, neighbors, and family, and come enjoy a great night out while supporting causes that make a difference right here at home.

  All proceeds from the auction benefit the Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department, the DOWC Scholarship Fund, children’s programs, and other local nonprofits supported by the DOWC throughout the year. Your generosity truly fuels the heart of our town!

  We’re accepting auction items at the Double Oak Town Hall from Wednesday, November 12th through Friday, November 14th, 5:30–8:00 p.m. each evening.

  Early Voting for November 4th Election in Denton County Begins on October 20th to October 31st, 2025

  The constitutional Amendment Election is on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Texans will have the opportunity to cast their votes on 17 Propositions passed by the Texas Legislature earlier this year. For these to be approved as Amendments to the Constitution, Texans must cast their vote on each one. You can find the Propositions, linked here, that will be on the ballot for this election.

  There is no current election for any officials for Double Oak during this election cycle. The next election for Double Oak elected officials will take place in May 2026.

  The Town of Double Oak will be a voting location on Tuesday November 4th at the Double Oak Town Hall - VOTING DAY ONLY

  The Double Oak Town Hall will NOT be an Early Voting Location. The following are the closest early voting locations to Double Oak.

  Early Voting Information and Dates:

  • Early voting will begin on Monday, October 20, 2025

  • Early Voting ends on Friday, October 31, 2025.

  • Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025
