Town Council Meeting — Monday, November 3 at 7 PM!
It’s that time again, folks — the Double Oak Town Council will gather this Monday, November 3 at 7 p.m. in Town Hall to discuss all things that keep our little town ticking. On the agenda? A new officer joining the Police Department, updates on open records (the kind we actually want to read), and a look at how one meeting a month might just save time and coffee money.
We’ll also chat about planning for future development, fresh holiday lights, and maybe even shine a spotlight on a few local heroes who keep Double Oak looking good and running strong. The agenda for the meeting is posted on the town website.
Come for the civic duty, stay for the small-town charm — and remember, it’s never dull when it’s Double Oak!
Remembering Phyllis Meyerson
The Town of Double Oak mourns the passing of Phyllis Meyerson, a longtime volunteer and dedicated community member who served our town for more than 27 years on various
commissions and committees. Phyllis first served on the Planning and Zoning Commission in 1997–1998, joined the Board of Adjustment in 2007–2008, and most recently served as the Chair of the Board of Adjustment. She was also an active and beloved member of the Double Oak Women’s Club, always giving her time and talents to the community she loved.
A Celebration of Life for Phyllis will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Museum of Biblical Arts in Dallas.

Double Oak Police Speed Tracker Trailer Statistics
Speed Tracker Results will now be provided on the eCode360 website at the link below with the latest results. The trailer will stay at specific locations for extended periods as we continue to analyze the data to assist in staffing our patrol hours at various locations.
The Town parked the Speed Trailer for 30 days on Kings Road to gain a statistical look at how many cars and trucks use Kings Road on a 30-day basis.
We will report the findings at the end of the 30 days.
