Town Hall Meeting - Future Development of Property - 407 and Simmons Road

The Town of Double Oak will host a public Town Hall meeting on Saturday, December 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the John B. Wright Park Pavilion to share high-level, conceptual information about the proposed development at the corner of FM 407 and Simmons Road. Many years ago, this tract was formally designated as the final opportunity for business development in Double Oak, and the Town has long anticipated that future property and sales tax revenues generated from this site would play a critical role in supporting our financial stability in the years ahead. This meeting will provide an overview of what the proposed development could look like and how it may contribute to Double Oak’s long-term fiscal health.

The meeting will last no longer than one hour, and residents are encouraged to attend, bring their lawn chairs, and bundle up for our chilly December North Texas weather. This will be the first in a series of public meetings on this important project, and citizen engagement will be central as plans continue to develop.
