Upcoming Double Oak Public Meeting Dates

Property Presentation (407/Simmons) – Saturday December 13th, 2:00 pm at the Town Hall Pavillion

The Town of Double Oak will host a public Town Hall meeting on Saturday, December 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the John B. Wright Park Pavilion to share high-level, conceptual information about the proposed development at the corner of FM 407 and Simmons Road. Many years ago, this tract was formally designated as the final opportunity for business development in Double Oak, and the Town has long anticipated that future property and sales tax revenues generated from this site would play a critical role in supporting our financial stability in the years ahead. This meeting will provide an overview of what the proposed development could look like and how it may contribute to Double Oak’s long-term fiscal health.

The meeting will last no longer than one hour, and residents are encouraged to attend, bring their lawn chairs, and bundle up for our chilly December North Texas weather. This will be the first in a series of public meetings on this important project, and citizen engagement will be central as plans continue to develop. This is the first of many meetings we will be holding to update the community. We will be posting a video recording of the meetings and will post them to our website, as well.

Town Council Meeting will be on December 15th, 2025, at the Town Hall

Double Oak Police Speed Tracker Trailer Statistics

Speed Tracker Results will now be provided on the eCode360 website at the link below with the latest results. The trailer will stay at specific locations for extended periods as we continue to analyze the data to assist in staffing our patrol hours at various locations.

The Town parked the Speed Trailer for 30 days on Kings Road to gain a statistical look at how many cars and trucks use Kings Road on a 30-day basis.

We will report the findings at the end of the 30 days.
