A Warm Welcome to Our Newly Elected Council Members

The Town of Double Oak is proud to congratulate Chris Bump, Dan McCormick, and Linda Blesch on their recent election to the Town Council. We look forward to the energy, dedication, and fresh perspectives each of them will bring to our community, and we are grateful they have chosen to step up and serve.

We also want to once again extend our heartfelt thanks to Mark Dieterich, Geri Smith, and Dr. K Favero for their willingness to put their names forward and give their time to this process. Running for office is no small commitment, and their participation reflects the kind of civic spirit that makes Double Oak such a wonderful place to call home. We are fortunate to have neighbors who care so deeply about our town.

To every resident who voted — thank you. An engaged community is a strong community, and Double Oak continues to show that in abundance.

Introducing Double Oak Trivia — And Our First Question!

We are excited to announce a brand new addition to your Friday Update — the Double Oak Weekly Trivia Contest! Each week we will pose a fun question about our one-of-a-kind town, and the first resident to submit the correct answer wins a prize. It's our way of celebrating the community we all call home while having a little fun along the way.

This week's prize? A one-of-a-kind Town of Double Oak koozie — perfect for keeping your drink cold at the next neighborhood gathering!

🏆 This Week's Question:

"What is the total number of street miles in Double Oak?"

Think you know the answer? Be the first to email your response to townhall@doubleoak.texas.gov with the subject line "Trivia Contest" and you could be our very first winner!

Good luck, Double Oak — we can't wait to see who comes out on top!

Get Involved – Your Town Needs You!

One of the things that makes Double Oak so special is the neighbors who show up — not just to vote or attend meetings, but to roll up their sleeves and help shape the community we all love. Right now, the Town is looking for dedicated volunteers to serve on two important committees: the Planning and Zoning Committee and the Board of Adjustments.

If you have ever thought about giving back in a meaningful way, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application or expression of interest to Town Hall, or visit Application Form for Boards, Commissions, Committees for more information on each committee and how to apply.

Double Oak is built by its people — and we'd be honored to have you at the table.

Rooted in community, growing together!
