Jellybeans Food For Kids - Please Help Feed a Child One Snack Bag at a Time
Next collection is May 6th from 9-11am – or you can leave your snack bags or non-perishables in the tub in the Town Hall lobby.
If you’re looking for a simple yet meaningful way to give back to our surrounding community, this is it!
Children visiting PediPlace often leave their appointments without knowing where their next meal will come from. Something as small as a Snack Bag can make a real difference—providing comfort, nourishment, and a reminder that someone cares.
We invite you to help by preparing a dozen snack bags once or twice a month. It’s an easy way to involve the whole family and make an immediate impact. Each Snack Bag can include: drink, fruit, protein item, snack, sweet treat and optional hand written note or coloring sheet. We also gladly accept non-perishable donations.
We are currently in URGENT need of volunteers to help with collection events, as two of our regular volunteers are recovering from medical issues.
Location: Double Oak Town Hall
When: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month
Time: 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Commitment: Just one hour, even twice a quarter, makes a big impact
This is one of those opportunities where a small effort goes a long way. A simple bag of snacks can provide not just food, but comfort, dignity, and care to a child who truly needs it.
Thank you for helping feed our community’s children—with love, dignity, and purpose.
Please contact Mary Johnson at 972-890-2509 if you have any questions.
Have a safe and happy weekend!
